If you were truly immortal, how would you pass the time?

Going either the sci-fi/fantasy route and you somehow were altered so that you would literally live forever. Or (if it can be done without too much side-tracking) going the religion route and you were going to live forever and heaven was whatever you wanted to do.

What things would you do to pass the time?

Smoke weed, put my kid in travel ball, tint my windows, visit Kmart for slushies, solve global warming, become a cartel drug smuggler working for the CIA

Immortal including immunity to harm or just the aging process? Or do I have an Achilles heal?

First I'd live the rest if my current life. Marry my fiancé, have a family, etc... After my wife and kids are dead,

I'd panhandle across the USA for a while.

Backpack across Europe.

Travel southeast Asia.

Then work on perfecting guitar, drums, bass, and keyboard and form a band then spend the rest of eternity jumping in and out of different bands and touring as a guest musician.

On the side I'd be a doctor, lawyer, and pharmacist so I can practice those things in the towns I visit on tour.

All the way. Immunity to harm. No achilles' heel.

I'd either fight or commit crimes. Just however I was feeling that day.

You don't seem terribly concerned about any grandkids you might have.

I'd never take an elevator downstairs again. Just jump out the nearest window instead and dust myself off after hitting the ground.

I'd visit them and all, but I'm immortal, at some point my family will be generations removed from the loved ones I've watched die as I long for a long sleep that will never come, so I move on,as all of their smiling faces just bring up the pain of my wife and kids.

Is this a "there can be only one" type situation?

I don't see why you would need to "pass the time" if you live forever. 1 minute is 1 day is 1000 years when time is infinite.

Id be immortal at my current age I would assume?

I'm not sure what Id do, but Id probably use mr immortality to make $. Then once I've made enough to do whatever Id want, then Id hit the road traveling.
