What are some cool things I should check out over there? (Aside from the obvious attempting to smash out OT 8's) I'll be there a little over 2 weeks for work but I will have a good bit of free time to scope things out.

I appreciate the feedback

If someone goes missing or dies, there's a Psychic detective agency that does good work out there.

Head to L.A. on the weekends, otherwise just cruise around eating and hanging at the beach

Head up to San Ysidro ranch for dinner. State Street has good shopping. Wine country in San Ynez valley is cool.

Great brewpub called The Brewhouse, good beer and food with live music. Great Cajun restaurant The Palace right off State Street, has been there for 30 years.

There are wine tasting rooms right in town. I was there Sunday actually, near part of town called the funk zone with old warehouses turned into bars and wine tasting rooms.

The Brewhouse is a good recommeNdation. Get a burrito at Los Arroyos, and make sure you have a bloody mary at Brophy Bros on the harbor. They have oysters and great clam chowder too. If you have $$, go to Lucky steakhouse in Montecito.

Ask around about some hikes but Tunnel trail is a good one. you can take a boat out to the channel isla ds too for a day trip. Drive up the 154 as far as you like and check out wine country.
