You can see the boat in the Saintsations calendar. I think it's September or August.

Kingranch has some pics of it when we did another photo shoot. The saints cheerleader wasn't as hot. I can't post them now, but maybe he can.

it is mandatory (if you were born after 1983)

But not in Florida. It would kill their tourism boat rental market.

A friend and I were fishing at the bridge where the Industrial Canal goes into Lake Pontchartrain.
We were catching trout while tied up to the structure. The A-Holes saw us catching and moved their boat right across the hole from us. We argued a minute or 2 then they said F-you we're staying! I wanted to argue but my bud tied on a 6" plug with 3 treble hooks and bounced off thier outboard motor to much howling and threats. He apologized profusely and said he wasn't used to throwing that plug yet, but he'd get better. The next cast hit the front of the boat. To much cursing and threats of arse-whippings they saw the error of thier ways and left.

I honestly don't get how people think handling these situations like this is a good idea.

A friend and I joked that we needed to act like we don't know each other...one pulls up too close to the other with lots of boats around and we start arguing....then fire a shotgun. Maybe then people will say "damn I need to quit crowding people...they shooting at people over here"

Reminds me of a story from a long time ago. My friend was with a group running deer dogs. The dogs were boring down on him. They were hunting on timber company roads. Just about the time my friend expected to see a deer come across the road an A-hole he didn't know runs up in a pickup, jumps out and yells "you look down that way and I'll watch this way! My buddy thinks about it a second, points the gun down at the ground and lets loose a round. The guy jumps an turns around and Bud says, "Damn this old gun. Second time it done that today!" A-Hole was gone quick!

With my luck, I'd get shot by some crazy idiot with just one cross word. I'll pass

I honestly think it worked out well. They totally invaded our space and just needed reminding.
That said: it was a long time ago though and folks have gotten crazier. The way people are these days that could degenerate into a gun battle, maybe.
I wouldn't want to try it. My arse is too old for a wupping and don't want no part of a gun fight.

This was pretty much my point. I'm out there to fish and relax, usually with one of my boys. I don't want to set a bad example for them and take a chance on ruining a fishing trip b/c someone jackass wasn't courteous. There's plenty of places on the lake to fish. Alot of those guys don't know what the hell the are doing. A simple discussion usually works instead of slinging some type of lead.

Uh...

You would really put your boat 2' from another boat, to fish?
Is it the boat or the lure? You said lure.

You are being a bit naive about this. Watch more fishing. Especially Major League Fishing. At least one tournament was won pitching right at docked sail boats.

I got a downvote

Not to mention, this guy is dumb enough to have a black boat in FL.

eta: Just saw it's not the poster's boat, but either way having a black boat in FL is just dumb as hell.

if he would just quit parking the damn thing on top of the fish he wouldn't have any trouble.

People take shite way to seriously for their own good. My hole, my fish, my marina...damn. Like fishermen are all 2 years old.

My dad made me take a boaters safety course when I was 11 or 12...should be mandatory IMO
it is mandatory (if you were born after 1983)
well it is a free online course which would be beneficial for someone who did not grow up around boats.
