Pretty sure only eatel does.

EATEL only as far as I know in Ascension Parish.
If you can get internet service from EATEL, do it and don't look back.

To my knowledge, Cox does not offer fiber-to-the-home anywhere for residential customers.

They have been doing so on a trial basis in limited cities (phoenix and somewhere in california maybe?) since sometime in 2013. Don't expect it in Louisiana anytime soon.

If you are in ascension, why the frick would you even consider Cox?

The new customer deal is far and above better than what I'm getting with Eatel now. 150mbps vs 5mbps internet, all movie channels and all in hd, same dvr capabilities, all for sixty dollars a month less for 12 months and thirty dollars a month less for the next twelve months guaranteed pricing.

I think its only like a few hundred if that.
If you want fiber to your house your best bet is Fios.

Doesn't matter the pricing, after you deal with outages and Cox's customer service, you will be glad to pay the EATEL price...

Bingo. I have had Eatel for 6+ years and not once have I had an outage and as long as my generator fires up I can watch cable when the power goes out.

Saw this today:

The company's migration to all digital kicked off last year in Connecticut, and has now expanded into Rhode Island and Tulsa, Oklahoma, where the cable operator is reclaiming spectrum used by around sixty analog channels. Next in line is New Orleans and Cleveland, where the freed spectrum will make room for more digital channels, more VOD options, and the inevitable launch of its promised 1 Gbps, DOCSIS 3.1 offering sometime next year.

My signal for Cox was horrible. Apparently, I was either at the end of the line on distance limitations from the feeder on the street or there was a faulty connection somewhere between point A and B. I got tired of calling technical support and having them tell me my signal was week so just reset the box.
I have yet to have to do that with Eatel.
Single mode fiber > hardline coaxial cable
