10 minutes for Odo, Malone, Epps, etc. against all of the early teams will give you options.

If you had watched any of the aforementioned players in action, you would know why they did not see the floor much. If you want to question JJ about not recruiting better players, I can't argue with you. But playing our starters that many minutes is what got us into the tournament and gave us the best chance to win.

... Coach Jones lost it earlier this season in December and January. He failed to develop a bench

Did he not develop Tim Quarterman? Where pray tell did he come from? Did he not develop Jalyn Patterson? Where did he come from? Did he not develop Darcy Malone into a guy that could play 5 minutes without fouling out? You guys just need to understand that Epps can't defend and Bridge doesn't have size. Next year, both will contribute. Not everyone can be Jahlil Okafor as a freshman. Also, just because someone can't play 10 minutes during the SEC or the tournament as a freshman doesn't mean your staff can't recruit. High school guys need development. Remember Martin and Quarterman last year?

Some of you act like Izzo or Krzyzewski would make Darcy Malone into a Dirk Nowitzki clone.

Either coach would have figured out a way to give more bench players more minutes during the season, developing a rotation. You know, instead of throwing 5 guys out there and waiting until TV timeouts to talk to them. And yes I know that Gray subbed in for 13 minutes. Wow.

Martin: 40 minutes
Mickey: 38 minutes (more like 39, but they round Malone up)
TQ: 39 minutes
Hornsby: 36 minutes
Patterson: 32 minutes

What role does the strength and conditioning program (or lack thereof) play in these second half chokes all season long?

You aren't familiar with Krzyzewski's career if you think that. Check him out in year 3 at Duke. 11-17 (3-11). I'm sure he had his fair share of Darcy Malone's on that team. The answer is, no he wouldn't. What helped him was building a program over time.

Lost because they cant do the most basic thing in basketball, shooting free throws

They should be running wins sprints until next year

How exactly will this make them better free throw shooters?

I don't care what shape you are in. Most players, especially forwards and centers, need a break during games. Also when you have the diversity of players that LSU has on the bench it is good to keep a number of them ready to play to take advantage of matchups.

The Bench didn't miss free throws which cost them more games than the NCAA game.....
