Pick any Wayne Gretzky record.
His list of records is the most impressive record in all of sports IMO.

Most career points: 2,857 How safe is this record? Consider that the last player to have more than 140 points in one season was Mario Lemieux, who put up 160 for the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1995-96. Twenty seasons of averaging 140 points wouldn't be enough to catch Gretzky's career record. Evgeni Malkin of the Penguins led the League in 2011-12, the most recent 82-game season, with 109 points.
Most career goals: 894 This is another mark that figures to last for a long time. The top goal-scorer among players 35 and younger is Marian Hossa of the Chicago Blackhawks with 434; for players 30 and younger, it's Alex Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals; he turns 28 next month and enters the season with 371 goals. Hossa won't catch Gretzky, and Ovechkin would need a long run of big seasons just to get within shouting distance.
Most career assists: 1,963 Gretzky often seemed to have eyes in the back of his head, that's how good he was at finding teammates for what turned into easy goals. His assist total is 714 more than runner-up Ron Francis, and Gretzky has more assists than any player has points. The only active player with 1,000 assists is 41-year-old Jaromir Jagr of the New Jersey Devils, who has 1,007.
Fewest games needed to score 50 goals: 39
Most goals in the first 50 games of a season: 61
Longest point-scoring streak: 51 games
Most 100-point seasons: 15
Etc etc etc.
Not to mention all of the single season scoring records. Unbelievable.

Ok... fair.
Only 16 times has a player in NHL history ever scored 150 points in a single season. Wayne Gretzky did it 9 times. That's more than every other player in NHL history combined, who account for the feat 7 times.
I'm willing to be there's been more than 18 other Olympic gold medals handed out.

56 consecutive game hitting streak. This. By far the hardest to attain IMO.
This can be done... 7 straight NC's in college bball will never be done.. Not with the way the game is today.... Plus if UK goes unbeaten this year. That's 40-0 and if everyone came back for next year they would have to go 40-0 again and then win the next 9 games the following year... Just can't see that happening.......

That's just unreal ........ Wayne is like Babe Ruth... He was SOOOO much better than everyone else when he played its uncanny...
Footnote.. NOBODY will EVER match What Ruth did stat wise in a single season.....1921...........

Most impressive or most unbreakable?
These are different questions. Changes to the game make the former question difficult to measure and allow the latter question to be answered with a number of examples.
As an example, no one will ever ever ever break Cy Young's career wins record of 511. Just won't happen as the game has completely changed
It would take three to break it
Two would only tie

A 4-5 Saints team being "four plays away" from 8-1.

Well medals have to be handed out, even if the field performs worse than you or I... I could say a certain time in an event that only Phelps has achieved and nobody else on this planet. That would be comparable to what you said

No one has mentioned the most unbreakable record in all of sports: Jack Chesbro winning 41 games in one MLB season. No pitchers these days even get that many STARTS in a year.

Not impressive, but one that will never be broken is Bobby Cox's ejection record.

Yogi Berra played in 75 World Series games with 14 World Series appearances and 10 World Series rings. That is pretty impressive.
