Fact.

Two were layups.

7 FTs

This choke is on the players.

Yeah but it would be nice to use our timeouts to settle guys down when you miss shots for 10 full minutes.

There were plenty of timeouts during that stretch.

There was plenty of stoppages and they kept missing.

2 of the shots, as mentioned, were layups

one was a WIDE OPEN corner 3, the most valuable shot in basketball

6 were FREE THROWS

9 of those were "free". Two under the goal.

Should he draw up a dunk every play?

SHUT THE frick UP

If this was the first game we saw the free throw issues, then yea the players blew it.

This has been a chronic issue. The coaches job is to fix those issues. Make them shoot free throws until their arm falls off.

I don't think it was on Jones at all. Mickey however allowed a tip in over him to bring the game within one point.....missed 4 straight free throws and also missed a wide open lay up right under the basket, all with the game on the line. Worst choke job I've ever witnessed. But when Quarterman brought the ball over to the bench as he crossed half court with 44 seconds left looking for a timeout, as a coach I think I would've called it. Mostly because we hadnt scored a point in 10 minutes and the team looked rattled up by 1 point....

when your team is built around 2 bigs and you have no real point guard or pure shooters, what do you expect is going to happen?

do you think doc rivers is a shitty coach b/c deandre jordan is amazingly terrible at FTs?
