Didn't LSU already come out with a new one that's actually pretty good? I remember seeing it on TV a while back and thinking, "huh, that actually didn't suck. There's a surprise."

I respect her wish to help others but the world isn't a big cuddly Teddy Bear anymore and being a US Citizen USED to protect you. Now days it makes you a big blinking target.

She will be on national news soon enough as a hostage of Boko Haram or some other group demanding either release of terrorists or millions of dollars.

I hate to say it (I really do) but our government's position needs to be: "You go over there, you are on your own."

agree, and why is it the bleeding hearts always have to go to places like that, is it not glamorous enough to pitch in and help people that need it where you live?

It's a good commercial, but not the best intro to use, imho.

The "change the world" line is already the well-recognized tagline for UT.

The University of Texas at Austin: What Starts Here Changes The World
More TV spots

From this LSU video:
"I tell them that I want to change the world..."
"...One person can't change the world, and personally I believe I can."

If top prospective students are looking at public universities that include LSU, there's a good chance UT is also on their list. With UT using "What Starts Here Changes The World" so effectively, I'd suggest avoiding phrases that are going to remind those top prospective students of schools other than LSU when trying to promote LSU.
