I will be picking the packets up tomorrow, and taking them to LSU. They will be available from then on out. Contact name if he is not there is Dr. DeHoop. I am Leaving for Easter weekend to Texas but you can text me. I will give you my number through the email I posted earlier in this thread.

Hey now

I need a couple of 40 packs!

I don't know where they will be, but I have an RF wand if we need to get into campus.

Thanks for the correction. All I know is its been voted ugliest building on LSU campus. Just a big ugly block with a few windows.

Who knows with all the budget cuts, and that the ag department isn't the most attractive field of study anymore.

Does anyone know if they have any at the other areas of the state?

Also, when the state got our black walnuts this year, they didn't any under one tree, so if anyone in NELA wants a bucketful of walnut nuts, I don't mind scooping some up. I am not sure if the ones that fell this winter are still ok to plant or not though. I could get some fresh on the ground ones this winter though.

Anyone make it over there to get the trees? Any chance there will be someone there tomorrow?

You can find the forestry building on campus it's close to the S gate and on highland.

I will probably not be able to go until the afternoon and was really just asking if anyone will be there since it's a holiday.

If you ever come down towards Baton Rouge, I would love to get some from you. In turn, I can give you some Elliot pecan nuts to plant.

Sorry I was unable to update any yesterday. Driving to Texas all day. I will check with my dad to see if anyone will be up there to let people in, and if so what time.
Pretty sure they will stay in the fridge up there untilthey are all gone, or no longer plantable. Will let Ya know.

I feel a little stupid asking this but these are acorn packets? If so I already lost my war with planting them to a ton of squirrels and insanely large armadillo.

These are saplings. Put in dirt and they should do ok.

For those looking to pick up, no one will be there until Monday morning.

Sorry I haven't been to available for everyone's questions. This is what my dad sent me while I was driving back from Texas today. He will be there Monday, Tuesday for sure, but if he is unavailable here is what you will need to know. Just copy this, screenshot, or whatever if anyone up there ask you what you are doing. Key name to drop is Dr. DeHoop. Pronounced dehope. Hope this helps.

I'm 22 and we have 114 acres in Vicksburg and would love to get some to plant up there even though it's mostly hardwoods already. We also have 21 acres down here that I'd love to plant some on as well. What do I need to do to get these. I'd probably prefer the sawtooth since they produce fast and early in the year.
