You realize that many parts of the World had unusually warm winters, right?

Alaska is a great example.

Well they were teaching in climatology classes in the late 90s-early 00's that the warming of the climate would lead to colder, harsher winters. Possibly a mini ice age. Ice caps melt, which makes the oceans colder, and therefore everything colder in certain areas. Its not that hard...

Also a warmer climate makes for stronger storms regardless of winter or summer storms.

So these weather patterns are man made. No way that huge tea pot just forms in nature.

Global warming yay or nay, lets at least get everybody on the same page that you don't judge climate by a hot summer or cold winter, but by a trend over years

My guess is that you're not very good at science/logic.

Funny how many OTers think they know more than climate scientists.

If black people caused global warming, the OT would be all over that shite.

If they can't get the weather right tommorow, why in the world should I care what they predict 1000 years out?

I'm in the camp that the climate is changing. It always has been. I just don't know if the changes in our relatively very small sample of data can be used as facts. Especially to blame on man. I honestly believe we don't know enough to blame it on man or not, so it irks me when people are dead set on the agenda. And when someone can find any way to make the evidence support their stance, its not even worth paying attention to.

If they can't tell me where a hurricane is heading, I'm not going to trust the accuracy of their climate predictions/conclusions. It's a science with too many variables and anyone who acts like they are 100% sure is not credible to me.

My issue is these global warming nuts could careless about REAL environmental problems. When was the last time you saw the likes of Al Gore talk about litter? Hell, Obama's budget wants to take away a significant amount of $ from Louisiana wetland erosion. At the same time has no problem specifically provide 200+ million for the Florida Everglades.

One day enough brains will be washed just enough and we'll have full fledged socialism in the good ole U.S.

How much money do you need to stop this global warming?

Can't deny that there are plenty out there that will pretend nothing is happening just so that they don't agree with something the left says. Just saying I think there's an small change happening that isn't just a blip in the data, but no way to be sure.
