Women's skiing... U.S. staaaaacked

I guess Lindsey Vonn's been around for a while but we currently have 2 #1's in women's skiing. I don't follow skiing much but it seems we weren't too good in the 90's/00's.
Vonn, #1 Downhill. Just clinched the Downhill world cup and going for the Super-G.
Mikaela Shiffrin. Current #1 Slalom.
