As one source noted, St. Patrick's Day is a bad night to go out drinking with police on high alert for driving and driving.

Why would police care about driving and driving?

It's best to do one thing at a time while driving.

Hmmm not sure if I should be outraged that Ray Rice got to stay on the roster for decking his fiancee/wife or not?

The Ray Rice Saga was probably the worst thing that could have happened for Bernard. If not that probably still on the roster.

Pollard didn't hurt anybody so he won't get a standing ovation from the fans when he returns to camp.

Man times have changed

I have one of those sports calendars and from '74 NCAA tourney. Oral Robert's coach Ken Trickey had been arrested for DWI the day before the Midwest regional final against Kansas. He suspended himself for the tourney. The school president reverses that decision and reinstates him. They lost in OT.

The guy had so much promise his rookie year. Quite a few people around here wanted him to start instead of Rice and since then he's just been injured and has been nowhere near as good.

Since 2011 the NFLPA has provided any current or former player with a chauffeured car to take them wherever and whenever, at the NFLPA's expense. That's 24/7/365. No limit on the number of times you can use the service. Just call the 1-800 number on the back of your ID card and blam, instant towncar from anywhere to anywhere, for free, no questions asked.

Now let it sink in just how buttfricking stupid Benard Pierce is for getting behind the wheel drunk.

This. It's amazing that this seems to happen several times a year to players who should know better.

I say the exact same thing every time I see a thread about an NFL player getting another DUI. It is mind boggling.

I've just assumed they want to do "shadier" shite than drinking and hence why they get busted not using the service.
