2010 - missed 2 games
2011 - missed 0 games
2012 - missed 0 games
2013 - missed 1 game
2014 - missed 7 games

2014 was an exception. from 2010 to 2013, why do people say he is injury prone?

I think he has had a couple nagging injuries that affected his play.

Those stats only show complete games missed. You would have to look at how many games he got injured and didn't return. That number will be higher I think.

goes further then missing games. Constantly nicked up, even if he plays

Same reason Harvin got the label early in his career

He played through injuries as well as played sparingly due to them. I love the signing, but "missed" games does not tell the entire story

How many games did he miss for knee and ankle injuries? I know that last season's missed games were due to a broken collarbone.
My concern with Bush when he was here was the amount of time missed due to ankle and knee injuries.

A lot of games he played but wasn' near 100%. I remember his ankle giving him problems. Great signing though.

Well, Pierre was often dinged, and Sproles had a few issues as well.

yeah, real interested to see how he does here.

owned him in fantasy football a few times... always the potential, rarely the desired results.

except for 2012 though. He did the damn thing that year.

I'm a Clemson fan and Spiller is my all-time favorite tiger.

Having said that he is constantly dinged. Sometimes it affects him, sometimes it doesn't, but this goes back to college.

As someone above said...play FF and you will know why. He's always questionable.

I haven't researched it at all, but the day he was meeting I saw a couple of posts that alleged that there were a number of games he technically "started" but after a series or two decided that he was unable to go. Those wouldn't get counted as missed games even though that's really what they amounted to.

All that said, I'm thrilled to have the guy.

Shouldn't be a problem. CSP can hook him up with extra pain meds.

I like this move, great fit for the Saints.
