How high can Kentucky rank historically with a NC this year?

Kentucky may very well finish 40-0 with a national championship when it's all said and done. I know people will argue that CBB is down overall, but how does that affect Kentucky in the GOAT conversation?
Is the ceiling 2009 UNC? 1990 UNLV? 1992 Duke?
Does a dominant tournament run get Kentucky in the conversation with 1996 Kentucky, 1976 Indiana, or even some of the UCLA teams?
Honestly, I think the best thing for CBB is a Kentucky national championship. If they trip up, the idea that CBB is down will only intensify.

Saw a tweet from a Vegas insider that said NYK would be favored by 13.5 or so over this UK team.

There have only been 7 wire to wire undefeated D1 teams. I would hope it would put them in the conversation. I don't know that they'll be the GOAT if it happens but to discount an undefeated run because of the perception that the rest of college basketball is down is silly IMO.
ETA: Just food for thought, they are .3 away from possibly tying '00 Stanford's field goal percentage defense record depending on how they do in the tournament. So it's not like they're not doing "historical" things either.

I want to see Kentucky choke.

Carmelo alone would beat them by 30

but but but the Knicks are terrible.
Yet somehow they beat the Spurs last night. Kentucky wouldn't have a prayer.

I personally think the UK team with Davis was better.
This Cal-era of UK has been ridiculous. I remember there used to be a contingent who said Cal could never win a title with his 1 and one methodology. He's been there like 6 years now right? 1 national title, 3 final 4's, an elite 8. Plus this year. Damn

I think UNLV at their peak is better.

Too bad they will lose to Notre Dame according to my bracket.

Won't matter when they lose to Kansas

Slim left town an hour ago. None is saddling up.

Already beat them by 30. That was months ago but I don't see much changing. It would be a closer game but UK wins easy still.
