Any Golden Meadow or Fourchon kayak reports?

I might try to make a trip down south on Sunday in the kayak. Anyone been lately to either of these spots? We've caught decent trout this time of year on the edges of catfish lake in previous years but I've not been fishing in nearly a year so I'm not sure if I want to spend that much time paddling.

Will be headed down to the camp to finish some work items started at the beginning of fall and will take the yak back with me and hopefully have time to try them.

Edit: under 15" trout have been consistent in CL all spring

every once in a while you can find some nicer fish without having to go to far though
