I did that one. It was nice. We took a day trip to Atlantis during our Nassau stop, which I highly recommend. Freeport is terrible. It's almost not worth getting off of the boat. Key West was awesome as well. There's some great places to hang out and some nice museums. I want to take the family back to Atlantis some time soon.

Key West is a cool little island. If you like beer, theres a World of Beer right off of Duval Street.

that cruise will seem like an eternity after about three days, do you know how close together those ports are?

Did this kind of as a delayed honeymoon years ago. Nassau is awesome. Had so much sex the night before freeport both the wife and I slept all day and woke up as the ship was leaving
Nassau is beautiful. Go to Atlantis.

Look into Sandy Toes excursion in Nassau. Pretty cool.
Also if you are a Rum fan, make sure to pick up some of this...it can only be purchased there, and is DAMN good.

I did this one last summer.
Atlantis. It's worth it. Get a cabbie to take you to the hotel nextdoor and rent a room there. You get 4 all access wristbands to atlantis cheaper than buying them anywhere else.
Key West - Just walk around town, rent a scooter and get drunk and shite
Freeport - sucks

Don't do anything in Freeport. Waste of a stop.
Key West don't book any excursions and simply walk off the boat. You're close to Duval St and a ton of cool places. Walk to the southernmost point and grab drinks at little bars by the beach there.
Nassau absolutely go to Atlantis. We had a blast with kids and adults hitting the lazy river and water slides all day. I'm not a water park person but my buddy's kids were hell bent on there so we just stayed together and I had a blast.

Atlantis is incredible. I really want to stay there for 4-5 days. It's like Vegas in paradise.
They should've routed the boat out of Nola straight there, stayed 3 nights, and head home.

We were fricked up by the time we made it on the lazy river. Decided it'd be smart to try and surf the outwash where the waves are made. That was a major mistake. Cut my big toe to the bone on the rock wall. Lucky I didn't crack my skull open and drown.
Atlantis = still awesome

Highly recommend Atlantis in Nassau and taking a tour of Hemmingway's house in Key West. As said before Freeport blows balls.

You obviously didn't visit Fort Fincastle and The Queen's Staircase and buy cheap crappy tee shirts from the local vendors !!!!!

I am going on this exact itinerary April 5th. I will come back and let you know what we found. These ports seem to not be most people's favorites. The excursions don't seem the greatest. I am going to just try and find a good beach to go to. I heard The Grand Lacaya or whatever is a nice resort, cheap to get into and use their pools and beach and you can buy drinks and food while there. Only costs a few bucks plus cabride from the pier. Go to cruisecritic.com and check out the Ports of Call section for the Bahamas.
Everyone raves about Atlantis, clearly, but the price is way too steep for me for only a few hours. If I ever vacation in the Bahamas then I would make it a definite stop. It is something like $200 per person and you are only in port from like 9-5 and the last bus that Carnival runs leaves at 3 so they cut you out of an hour or so.
