Been on a low carb regiment (and down about 7 lbs. in 8 days), but want to try something different, unique.

Got any ideas?

Almond Flour Chicken Parm

Serve over some spiralized zucchini as a pasta substitute.

Why do you need something unique?

Steak, tuna, chicken, lamb, salmon.

Almonds, cashews, pistachios.

Low glycemic carbs such as berries especially elderberry and bilberry. Asparagus is a good veggie.

Lower the salt.

All this creative stuff is just a gimmick. Train hard and smart

cashews

Not low carb. Pecan, Walnut, macadamia would be better.

Depending on how low carb someone is trying to go, this can be a bad idea. If <50g carbs per day, you're going to want more salt (and potassium and magnesium) to offset what's lost when the body isn't storing much glycogen

Obviously so. But I'm not preaching to the average to in shape individuals who could use the electrolytes to not mess up the na k pump

The obese high blood pressure people then yeah it needs to be lowered.

Crustless quiche. You can get creative with your combinations.

Stuffed peppers. No rice or bread crumbs. Ground beef and Italian sausage (out of casing and browned) with diced zucchini and the trinity, also some pine nuts for crunch. Top with grated cheese.

For dessert, try a little (1/2 cup) ricotta cheese with some cocoa powder, vanilla and splenda. Alternative, a squeeze of lemon juice , vanilla and splenda. Use full fat for lowest carbs.

Quinoa is one of those things you can't tell people you eat, but it is a great substitute for rice if cooked the right way.

I have used it for roast and gravy, gumbo, jambalaya, stuffed bell peppers, chili, etc. Bell peppers and jambalaya come out extremely good.

I hope you know that you REALLY haven't lost 7 pounds in 8 days. There are 3500 calories in a pound. Assuming you need 2500 calories a day to maintain your weight, if you ate absolutely NOTHING for 8 days, you'd only lose 5.7 pounds. (2500 X 8= 20,000 divided by 3500)
(it is theoretically possible if you weigh 400 pounds and you totally starved yourself for 8 days)

crustless pizza.

Layer or shredded Mozzarella Cheese on pam sprayed aluminum pie pan. next layer Pepperoni, followed by a touch of sauce, followed by more cheese (Parmesan). Sauté (pam or tiny amount of butter) and add green peppers, onions and mushrooms but not too many.

Bake off in 400 degree oven until it gets bubbly

Not bad
