You ever feel like running away?

I thought this was a kid thing. I never thought about running away as a kid though, but I damn sure do as an adult. If it weren't for my two little boys, I'd hit the road and nobody would hear from me again. I might would send a message every once in a while to let my folks know I'm still alive.

Sounds like you may just need to make some changes in your life. You can be happy in most any location.

Not running away as much as a desire to experience new places, cultures, vaginas, etc.

I have severe wanderlust. Love roaming around through unknown places. I also like being alone. I may have briefly fantasized about "running away" but never gave it serious thought. I just get in a car and drive in a random direction sometimes for a few days.

I think that has a lot to do with it. I feel stir crazy, like I'm meant to be a nomad.

Yeah. I know I'm not where I want to be in life. Those throughts run through my mind for sure. But it's all about being better than you were yesterday and everything will fall into place, that's what I'm yelling myself anyway

Google "digital nomad" and then kiss the rest of your day goodbye.
It's all I think about.

The wife and I dream about taking our kids and just running away. Start over again with no outside pressure from family.

Sometimes, but then I remember I hate running and I just stay where I am.

My wife and I have similar inclinations. We joke that if we aren't at least 300 miles fr home at least once a month we get the itch to travel even further.
We have driven from the middle of I10 to the Atlantic and then back across to the Pacific. No planning at all, we just hopped in the car and that's where the road took us.
