It's misleading and confusing, but they mean "breakeven" from a fiscal regime standpoint, not economics in wells.

Oil dropped even lower on inventory data baws. If Yellen doesn't say the word "patient" here in half an hour, we could really start to approach the $40 mark.

Edit: Looks like I was 100% wrong on the initial move. Guess it was already priced in. Doesn't make any sense to me.

I is a penny stock but I have been watching VOIL.

they are prospecting in UTAH. While they have not hit anything yet once they do their stock price will go up a bit. And then rise further with oil prices climbing again.

lol

A penny stock oil explorer with no revenue in a crashing oil market and their name is "Virtual" Oil. They also recently changed accountants because the previous firm is going through litigation with the SEC.

I'll pass, sounds like something Aubrey McClendon would create

I thought it would take a nose dive, instead most oil stocks are up big time, SM is up 10%

OK got it. The dollar dropped because fed officials backed down somewhat on both inflation expectations and anticipated rate increases. Read too much into the "patience" bit, especially since the market had priced that expectation in.
