Those don't look like any NFL jerseys I've ever seen.

This is what the guy said on Operation Sports:

quote:

- The game is called Joe Montana NFL Football 16. This is an NFL game. First-party stipulations that the NFL has always left open & the NFL’s exclusive relationship with Microsoft allows for Microsoft to have an NFL game. Microsoft Studios is the publisher.

I'm still skeptical because it feels like if it had real players/teams in it then it would have been leaked by a current player at some point

Okay, then...nice. I like this idea. 2K football was better at Madden anyway. Especially the $20 retail masterpiece that was 2K5.

From an operationsports mod:

We've had three separate people from 2k confirm off the record that 2k is not involved in this game.

Who knows what's true.

Especially if 2K is involved with how they love their face-scanning technology.

There's just something fishy about this if we haven't gotten anything besides that small clip that doesn't really show anything and it is coming out mid-July. They should go get NaturalMotion for their in-game physics and that could change the football game

This could be the final straw in getting me to purchase an XB1, and would be perfect timing with my birthday

That kills some momentum then. This game will need a big gaming company to back it if they want to convince people to A.) Go buy an XB1 and B.) Ditch Madden

Yeah I know they are already doing the face-scanning stuff for the next NBA game, so I would assume they would have had to start the process for a game that is coming out earlier than that.

I hope this isn't a hey we are getting a baseball game on the X1 then you see what it is and it looks like a mobile game.

Don't think the exclusivity has been confirmed.

quote:

That being said EA stealthily renewed the license again before it was set to expire following Madden NFL 25. The company dodged comment on the status of exclusivity in the agreement which raised some eyebrows. It’s possible the deal EA and the NFL has now is no longer exclusive. I even floated the idea that something could have been in the works back then as it would’ve explained EA’s silence on the matter.

If it was truly exclusive EA would come out and market that shite like they have before. The fact that they refuse to comment tells everyone it'd no longer exclusive
