Thrillist Article, ranked based on "quality, innovation, and the overall scene."

I'll save you all the trouble..

13. Ireland
12. New Zealand
11. Sweden
10. Italy
9. Norway
8. Netherlands
7. Canada
6. Japan
5. Denmark
4. Germany
3. UK
2. USA
1. Belgium

Overall I think that's a pretty solid list. I'd have USA #1, but that's just one man's opinion. I feel like Australia and France are probably close behind their 13, as well as the Czech Republic.

Yeah, not sure how that doesn't make the top 13.

Terrible list. USA should easily be #1 based on the quantity of quality beers. Japan or any other Asian country shouldn't be on the list. They make 1 kind of beer and it's boring.

You need to study up on Japanese beer.

Let me guess...you live in 'merica.

I also am shocked that the Czech Republic is not on the list.

To be fair we make better iterations of the beers originated in a lot of those countries on the list.

Canada must be very regional with availability. I did not like most of the Canadian beers I had in New Brunswick.

Austrailia would be higher up on that list if you could get their beers. We had some pretty tasty ones when we went.

I knew Belgium was a great beer country when I went, but it exceeded my expectations all around.

Belgium's beer culture is amazing. We have a sister plant there so it makes for a great business trip. I love seeing 75 year old women sipping their Chimay on a restaurant patio at 11am on a Tuesday, they have to hold the goblet with 2 hands but they get the job done!
