After watching this weekend of LSU baseball with the weather warmer

I think it's safe to say the new balls are a lot better. Ball carried pretty well this past weekend for both teams and Orvis hit some that no one was hitting with the old balls.

Granted the one Orvis hit yesterday was pretty much a batting practice fastball down the middle with the game out of hand and same thing with his foul ball that broke the tile on the indoor batting facility.
The balls in the gap are getting further out so the OF can't cheat in so much.
