Would think Evans is most likely.
Bush may be needed in case year two Kenny shows up and not year one kenny.
We could use a vet WR and a vet LB'er(not much out there FA wise perhaps a trade).

I feel like Evans will be team friendly and help out with the cap issues personally. He's rooted here and he's been handsomely paid for his service.

In all seriousness, i think Vacarro
If that happened it would pretty much confirm this has all been about performance and the locker room as opposed to cap issues.
That's already been confirmed in my eyed.
I agree with the Evans, Vacarro and Bush players. I will throw one more out there:
Cam Jordan
He would bring some good value in a trade. He is entering into his final year, and we will have to pony up big bucks to retain him. After his severely disappointing 2014, I could see them not wanting to commit to him long term and opting instead to get what they can for him now while we still have him.

I actually thought about him as well. I know we wouldn't save anything cap wise, but obviously some of the moves so far aren't cap space moves. We know Rob loves him, but I don't know how much influence he has being that we pretty much hired his replacement while he's still on staff. I know he is a regular in the Warehouse District, and after taking a step back last year, maybe Payton is ready to ship him out as well?

Cam would have good value, but I'd like to keep him. Best defensive linemen we have.

That would be a surprise. Oh wait.

I thought about Cam but he's been one of the few players on D worth a damn and how much will him being on a one year deal hurt his return value?

Good point but that doesn't help with this year's cap problem. Evans will be in the trade mix somewhere if he doesn't take a pay cut.

I can see it happening with Cam Jordan as well.

I think its Bush. I think they want to keep Evan. Can't turn over the entire inside of the line at once, IMO.
He was linked to being on the block last week. I still think its him.

I agree. Graham was the best receiver we had too. That shite don't mattah now! I have reservations about him. He pulled a disappearing act last year, so that could be a sign of what's to come with a huge contract. Is he worth the risk? I'm unsure. If you can get great value in a trade, it would be difficult to pass up.

I know Vaccaro got his chops busted last year, but I seem to remember he and Sean Payton smoothing everything over.

He isn't agreeing to a paycut. He will be either traded or cut. If he isn't the one traded, that tells me he wants to test his value in the open market.

The night Graham got traded there were some rumors (nothing official) about Jordan and the Giants. It could just very well be one of their media people speculating, or even the Giants reaching out to us. It's hard to think that we would trade a productive player on a rookie deal, but we've already done that this offseason.
I've shared this story on here before, but I have a friend who went on a double date with his girlfriend, her friend, and her friend's boyfriend who plays on the team. The date happened during the season, and when my friend asked about the current season, the response he got was along the lines of "Well, when two of your defensive captains are more worries about their Twitter account than the gameplan, it doesn't translate well to the field." This seems to be the kind of stuff Payton is getting rid of this offseason.
Here's some tweets in regards to Jordan:
Ian Rapopr, NFL Network:

Ian Rapoport ?@RapSheet Mar 13 One player not available. RT @MikeSilver: Maybe the Rams will call about Cam Jordan. OK, I'm out...
Giants blogger:

Big Blue Interactive ?@BigBlueInteract We're hearing the Giants are talking to Saints about DE Cameron Jordan.

we're going to end up getting victor cruz from the gaints if that is the trading partner
Posted on 3/16/15 at 9:20 am to Midget Death Squad
Right now we are slammed against the cap so in order to trade Vaccaro we HAVE to trade someone else first.
Jordan is an interesting consideration but from all indications he is a good guy and hard worker. He would fetch the most value in trade and save the most cap though so possible.
And of course there's Brees.

Mine too. But trading a recent 1st round pic who had a good rookie year further reinforces what we already know, especially given that KV was apparently part of the knucklehead brigade.

shite! I feel pretty confident that Cam would fetch a 1st round pick. That would give us 3 1st rounders.
Considering what Payton and Loomis have done in the past, they'll trade all of them to move up.

I honestly expect Jordan, Evans, vaccaro, and Bush to be the last 4 touched this year.
Posted on 3/16/15 at 9:24 am to adono
My guess would be Cam Jordan. It makes sense in that we could get real value back for him.
I'm not really sure what we are doing. This almost feels like a total tear-down and rebuild, but in a way it's not. We still have the players on this team to be very good and when Payton is at his best (which he wasn't last year) he's a top 3 coach in the league.
I'm thinking next year may be rough, but with the addition of young talent through the draft we are being set up to have a solid nucleus around whoever takes the reigns from Brees.
