The only way Loomis/Payton go after OBJ is if they're trying to outdo Chip for craziest moves by an organization. Most think they're running neck and neck at the present time!

Most of what the saints are going through now is a result of missing on multiple draft picks, but you act like such a thing is an anomaly for an organization. I just call it variance.
Every draft pick has a certain probability associated with it. You find a series of absolute gems in late rounds, the colstons, evans, nicks, grahams, etc you're kind of due to miss on some guys down the road. There has never been an organization on the history of football that just routinely plucks future probowlers out of the bottom of the draft. In fact, there are multiple organizations for which a draft in which half their picks or more work out for them is a complete anomaly.

I don't know what package any team could put together for OBJ (within reason, the giants are set at QB)
