Its been Six Long Years

Its been six long years since we have heard LSU called on selection Sunday. If you bleed purple and gold it was a great emotional lift watching the team erupt knowing there was a ticket to the Big Dance with their name on it. This is the first big step in the remake of the Fantastic Climb to the Top. If it is anything like the original version the Tiger Nation is in for quite a ride.
This is a dangerous team with a real chance to make a statement. In the long run the loss to Auburn may pay dividends as the two extra days of rest and healing for the injured may prove more beneficial. Jordan Mickey is the key to this team in the tournament. If he gets back to double double form Martin and Hornsby become more effective.

...and the morons that said that LSU didn't deserve a bid shouldn't be allowed to post until they show proof that they've gotten meds.

He was all beast mode when he came back after resting for a few weeks.
Mickey has not been well for a month, but kept playing. He needed these extra days to get recharged. It seemed he just wore down, but look for him to return to form this week.
