This kid has a half arse throwing motion. He's not the answer to close out right games. He's been exposed the past two weekends against better competition. Is there anybody else competing with him for the closing job?

He will be fine but I do think his little kicking dirt and stomping around on the mound is not needed. It's ok to show emotion but sometimes this kid goes way overboard with it.

He doesn't finish his pitches. He slows down his whole motion when throwing off speed pitches.

Thanks for your input. It's nice to have a big time pitching coach drop in here and give us the benefit of is his vast successful experience.

I forget. What is in your resume?

You can't bench him after 1 ER. The kid has alligator blood.

max effort delivery that isn't consistent yet. Gonna be a feast or famine type guy until he gets relatively sound mechanically

8 saves and you want to bench him. Even Rivera blew saves.

This is what I'm getting at. He doesn't follow through. He tries to spot place his off speed pitches by slowing down his motion. Needs consistency with all pitches if he's going to close out tight games for a team trying to get to Omaha again.

Is this the first game you've watched all season? He leads the country in saves
