How does Jones recruit so well? I mean, he shows little to no emotion on the sidelines and his teams consistently look bad against weak teams. How does he recruit so well?

He's likeable and can convince the recruits he's building something special. He makes people want to play for him

Not sure, but he's always recruited well. Even at North Texas, he got one-time Detroit Piston Tony Mitchell.

You say this like it is a bad thing. It might be to many, personally, I much prefer coaches like that. I couldn't imagine playing for a hothead like Frank Martin.
Honestly, recruits probably feel like they can do their own thing once at LSU and they aren't going to be micromanaged while here.
Oh and please change your thread title to give some sort of indication as to what it is about.

They constantly look good against good teams.
Mike Anderson last year in his 3rd year at Arky had a similar year in a weaker SEC to our team this year and now they are a top 20 team.
Hes a very likeable person who is extremely personable and has improved the teams standing every year. We will see how the bubble plays out. Given this teams M O we will do well in the tourney if we make it.
