It's on Steam for $10 and I never played it when I was younger. It has an 85/100 rating but I've heard from people it's not very good. But when you're comparing it to the first KOTOR, it's not going to be.

So is it worth buying and spending time on?

Windows compatibility issues are hit or miss but yes it's still awesome.

If you enjoyed KOTOR then you'll probably enjoy KOTOR II. Sure the story's not as good but for 10$ it's a pretty good deal.

Well yeah,it's a good buy. It's not as good as the first game and is pretty glitchy, but on like the first game, you can train your party members to be jedi.

Also, be sure to download the restored content mod.

I think if Obsidian were actually given the time to finish the game it would have been better than the first. Still a solid buy though.

So many buggy but awesome games that they've made.

Yes they were put in a bad situation for developing this game. They didn't even know how the first game ended for most of development.

Correct. I wish they would remaster these games so bad.

When EA took over the Star Wars games these were the very 1st two games that I was hoping that they would remaster with new graphics or even just get make the run smooth without a lot of the bugs.

I have all the all the the Star Wars Knights games on Steam and I think the longest time I have in any of them is 25 minutes, I don't know why these games are so well liked.

I guess I need to give them another shot and some patience.

25 minutes isn't much time for them. The 2nd had a notoriously slow start. I like the taris section of 1 but it took way too long for a star wars game to give you a light sabre or force powers.

In the last 2 years or so, don't remember, I would say it's dated but I can play F.E.A.R. and Half Life and still really enjoy them.

But were those 2 dated when you first played them?

No, but I still replay once every year or two.

I'm not being a jerk, but does anything change about the game to merit a second play? Some games I could understand where there are multiple paths or endings, but FEAR and HL2 seem pretty linear. Why play either more than once?
