These birds are disgusting. It's amazing to see the thousands and thousands flocked together but it's such a nuisance. Parking lots around here take some savvy thought to avoid the shite these things produce.

Anyone else fight this?

Yes. They're all over the Beaumont area. The males always bow up on me at the HEB parking lot (I assume the blacker ones are the males)

Yes, they are all over Austin. They don't seem to push other birds out, I've seen them with pigeons, dove, etc. But they are loud and annoying as shite.

There's a shite ton of something. I've been calling them blackbirds, but maybe they're grackles.

There's another type of bird that has taken over the HEB parking lot by my house. Much higher pitched chirp. You can't see them in the trees, just hear them. It's like Vietnam.

Don't park under a tree there unless you want your car painted white.

Terrible but I've always wanted to come out of Lowes w a bag of bird seed and see what would ensue after dumping it in the bed of a pickup.

They are annoying, but sometimes it's amazing to see their numbers. In the mornings near my neighborhood HEB they blanket everything!

I want this shirt:

They just kind of puff out their chest and stare me down. I always imagine they're thinking "just keep walking you lil bitch." And I always do, but then as I'm going through the aisles inside it always bothers me. I start thinking to myself "I could take that bird if I wanted to. One swift kick with these steel-toes and it's night night for that tPOS bird." Happens every time.

They're all over my yard. I have some fruit trees out front and the stupid things won't let up.

They come back even after I've killed some of their friends.

Back in the late 60's - sections of Barksdale AFB would look like a black slice of pie from the air.

Would Barksdale try to scare them away with noise etc? Not something you want around planes I assume.

My dad told me Metairie has been inundated with "blackbirds". He may be confusing them for grackles
