I'll be in Lafayette tomorrow evening with the family and was wandering where we could get a good meal. Not really interested in a bar and grill (7 year old). Not too picky on the type of food, just a good atmosphere and good food. Thanks in advance.

Maybe the atmosphere is good, but that has to be the most overrated place for crawfish in all of Acadiana. Not even Top 5 in Lafayette-Broussard metropolis.

With the nice weather, go to Agave and sit on the patio. Corner of Camellia and Kaliste Saloom.

I'm no crawfish snob. I rotate between all places, but I went the other night and they were perfect.

Better to go there with at most a 5 minute wait (because of how big that damn place is), than go to Crawfish Time and wait for an hour with half of Lafayette.

We're not too far away from Randols, there's live music but how is the food?

Meh. Although the boiled crawfish might be good.

Dark Roux is not too far from there. Try that!
