Dude could possibly have a billion yards. What Marrone did to him was criminal

Marrone didnt do anything wrong and i hated marrone And his offense. Freddie outplayed cj and hit the holes better and had better hands.

Also cj was hurt alot. Dont look at games played but look at amount he played in them. Cj hit the every now and then homerun but.majority of time he was very avg hole runner

6-10, thirty-nine plays away from being 8-8.

CJ is quite obviously a repetition back.

Marrone didn't give him the reps to hit HRs.

A terrible comparison career wise, but he's IMO a Barry Sanders type runner. Ie Barry Sanders has the most negative rushing yard attempts in NFL history or something like that.

Dude i watch every bills game. When chan was there they split time depending on situatiom. If it was short yardage or short feld fred played because he could run holes. When it was other side of field cj played because homerun breaker. Sometimes did series shifts...but cj had all the hype and fred outplayed him in key areas.

Marrone comes in wants to run cj non stop..then he sees cj cant run inside. They tried sweeps all time screen passes...he rarely broke plays and alot of times didnt take what was given to him

Cj may flourish in new orleans but neither coach had A system that could keep cj healthy or consistently run inside

That's because Spiller is soft

Does he typically play hurt? I see he missed 2 games year 1, 16 games the next two years, 15 games 2013, and of course missed a bunch last year. Still has a 5.0 yard average and I think Payton will use him correctly. Could potentially be a more versatile version of a young Reggie in our system.

Yeah. A lot of times he would carry a few games and be done.
Or play a half and be done.

Esp. late in the season it seemed like he never made it to the 4th.

His last carry last season is quite the career summary.

1 carry, 50 something yards, hurt.

Gotcha. Hopefully it works out, but I will just expect young Reggie haha.
