he has bookend injury/sub 4 YPC seasons, but in between his YPC was insane, and I don't need to watch buffalo to know that teams were probably crowding the box with no qb and no wr to speak of

Payton will also find mismatches for him in the passing game...I'm pretty stoked. I never thought in a million years he'd sign. I thought we were leverage for the cowboys.

When Chan was there Stevie was putting up 1000 seasons and Fitzy wasn't as bad as many think. He just didn't live up to a big contract is why he had to be cut.

Last year I loved our WRs.

And while Kyle/EJ/Fitzy weren't the most accurate throwers they all loved the check down to throw to them on screen passes...esp. Gaileys offense. the two RBs got majority of plays to them even if passing

I think Sean and the turf in the dome is gonna be great for him though

people really undervalued what a chain mover reggie bush was, and his contributions to the offense. He was a matchup nightmare and he demanded a lot of defensive attention when he was on the field. Nobody cares when travaris cadet splits out wide.

Spiller signed for 4 years according to Rotoworld, didn't list financial figures yet.

It was so awkward when the Shady/Kiko trade was announced on NFL network....because CJ Spiller was coming on as the guest for the next segment and he just found out himself and the Bills thanked him for his service.

I think thats one thing that's going to motivate him to have a huge year....even if its just a business upgrade guys can't help but take it personally. At his best he shits on Ingram. I like the Saints as long as they aren't playing Buffalo so I hope he goes off.

Also I think Byrd is going to go off this year on defense for you guys

The #Saints deal with CJ Spiller is a 4-year deal, I’m told. Not a short-term investment (@AdamSchefter first had him signing).

Nah, I just live on TD.

Is he still calling in? I thought he was no longer around.

Am I the only person who thinks this is an awful move? Maybe its just because Ive never really been a fan of spiller, but he seems to always get hurt and when he's healthy he underperforms. We just gave ingram a big contract and we seem to do really well with finding no-name rbs and having them perform well. This seems almost like it's a waste of money and talent.

No we didn't

I need to see the numbers on Spiller, but he can be deadly in this offense.

If he can stay healthy, he's going to be a great 3rd down back in this offense.

I thought gailey used him nicely, he had a stretch for about a season and a half where he was performing at an elite level. I'm not expecting that guy, but he'll be very good at what we'll be asking him to do.
