Could we be one?

Rosenhaus is uncertain when a deal will get done, but by now, he firmly believes it will happen. Rosenhaus made it sound as if it will be a longer and richer deal than some predicted.

Hardy became a free agent on Tuesday when the Panthers declined to re-sign him, and he is free to sign with any team, though he remains on the commissioner's exempt list.

Hardy is seeking immediate reinstatement by the NFL, which is still mulling whether to suspend Hardy under the league's personal conduct code.

At least six teams reportedly have shown interest in Hardy.

Him opposite Junior would be sick. Would also pretty much guarantee best OL at 13 IMO.

My man was the only one to go to D-Will's momma funeral. I'd call that a good teammate to have in the locker room.

I severely doubt it.

We are strapped for cash and there are a lot more teams that can pay a lot more money

Wasn't there a report a few months ago saying the Saints needed to spend more cash. The NFL requires the team to spend a certain percentage of cash in a 3 year window, and the Saints were expected to fall short of that mark.

Need to spend more cash

quote:

Each team must spend at least 89 percent in cash of the allotted salary cap over a four-year period between 2013-16. The Saints have spent 86.25 percent of that money.

According to numbers provided by the NFLPA, the Saints spent $96,555,157 in cash in 2013 and $124,241,430 in cash in 2014.

quote:

The Saints will have to spend $135 million in 2015 to hit the 89 percent minimum spending mark

I sure hope not. Loomis will have to do some serious "Loomising" for this to work.
