aTm is a bubble team and we are on the inside looking out right now, but not far from the other side. If we lose to aTm tomorrow that would give them two tourney wins and 3 over us. You would have to think that would bump them ahead of us in committees eyes. It's still possible we both get in, but I won't be comfortable unless we pick up the W.

It all depends on how the current bubble teams do and how many conference bids are stolen.

Speaking of, what happened to the who the cheer for thread?

We may not even be playing them. Auburn starts the second half on a 16-1 run.

Yeah, but quite possibly. Three losses to the same team is difficult to ignore.

A win over AU would do nothing for their tournament resume, NOTHING. A&M's biggest problem is that they have lost to every "good" team they have played except LSU. The committee is going to look at the entire season for every team in consideration. Just because A&M gets in doesn't mean LSU won't and vice-versa. There isn't some pre-defined number of teams from the SEC that are going to get bids.

In fact, I think the LSU matchup is bad for A&M. It would help their case much more if they can show they can beat a good team besides just LSU. Beating LSU just shows us something we already know, that A&M can beat LSU. However, if you compare the full body of work for both teams there is a reason LSU has a better chance of getting into the tournament. It's because LSU has beaten several good teams this year. A&M hasn't

Cheer for A&M. The only thing an AU matchup does for LSU is give LSU one final chance for another "bad" loss.

This. There is nothing to be gained and a lot to lose by playing Auburn.

I don't think it matters.

If TAMU loses, they are OUT. SEC will get 5 teams. LSU could lose to AU and won't matter.

If tigers lose to Aggies we Nit bound.
Auburn lost would be even worse in the committees mind

You don't know that, but obviously it doesn't help.

I would agree, but the chances of victory are also greater, and bubble team A&M is out of the picture

That said, Auburn is winning by 10 with 5:41
