I planted it Sunday. I transplanted the entire content of the pot and surrounded It with about 3-4 inches of topsoil. The base is pretty much at elevation. No fertilizer or anything, I figure it's too young for that. It was pretty and green when it was planted, now I have this. Any tips?
TIA

I've had hell planting stuff next to rowed up ag fields like your situation in the first picture. The soil is to "contaminated" with herbicide residue from years of spraying.

You might have issues with drift hitting your plants but not herbicide residue in the soils.

Quite possible.

I just know I had health issues planting new stuff before they got cranked up spraying. Once they started spraying it was the kill shot.

Did you allow to freeze this winter?

Looks like it could recover.

Yeah I hope it's just getting used to the new place. It was under the carport for that last freeze but still looked good until it was planted.

And yes I have white arse legs. I wear boots and jeans at work and on off days.

You better pick it up and move it away from north wind.
Plus that field is gonna have some herbicides sprayed and it could and prob will drift and kill it.

every one that I have planted has gotten pretty stressed just after I planted it. You have nothing to lose, so let it run its course....I believe it will lose a good bit of leaves, but sprout back out with some more before the spring is done...
