Can someone link what I'd need to do it pretty cheaply. I have an old iphone5. Not sure yet what I want to do with it, but figured I could possibly make some use out of it if I can fix it pretty cheaply.

Thanks!

Take your pick. Personally, I'd choose one that's fulfilled by Amazon because the quality of these screens can vary (even from unit to unit), and Amazon makes returns very easy.

If you don't have any of the required tools to open it, at the very least, you will need a P2 Pentalobe screwdriver and a #000 phillips screwdriver. You'll also need a small suction cup that's small enough to stick t the screen. I'd recommend buying a kit that comes with the tools, including some plastic pry tools.

Ignore the reviews on each one. Most of the bad reviews are a result of user error, and reviews of quality can't be trusted because these screens undergo such lax QC that they're gonna vary. In the unlikely event you get an unacceptable one, simply return to Amazon and try another listing.
