I just got my fire stick with kodi in today. It works great and everything but I think I'm going to have to sell it on ebay where it came from. It keeps saying needs signal in and out and it frustrates me everytime it works good then it looses signal. I can't watch a show or a movie like this. I'm going to get the fire tv this time like other posters suggested but it was too late I had already bought it

So you can buy them with all the stuff preinstalled? How much of a premium do they charge?

And it irks me that people don't know the difference between lose and loose

Yea the average price on ebay with kodi installed is $69 with $10 for shipping. Now I going to sell it for the same price and use that money and pay a extra $40 and get the box with kodi on it. Sorry for the loose lose word lol bad habit

Is it hard to install it yourself?

I am an average computer user. If you search the tech board there are some links to how to install. Also youtube. I did it with ease.

So you're going to put in the listing that it doesn't work well, right?

I think you can access some sources that have free shows and movies available for stream

(Likely not legal sources)

Well my internet is not the best so it loses signal easier and I have a fire tv in the living room and have no problem at all. I read that people recommend a fire stick for the bedroom and it's cheaper so I gave it a try. I tried and somebody else with better internet service will do them good. I'm just going to spend more for the box and I know it's going to work. I love kodi I watch all the tv shows and movies old and new and it money well spent if you cancel cable. Live tv on there is not the best but it's something

Nothing to it. Might take 20 minutes. I would to with the box personally as you can hard wire it.

Might be a problem with your modem or router and not your fire stick.

Sounds like your issue might not be with the stick, but with your wifi signal.

Check this thread for instruction on what to download and a youtube video on how to install everything.

its not HD, if thats what youre asking, but it streams the content without interruption.

at times the quality is better than others; last night watching the clippers game, it was near HD quality.

Yea it all depends on the source

sometimes you can pull 720 live streams sometimes its utter shite.

But when using the repository on an add one like 1Channel, a day after a episode comes out you can usually get full HD.
