It's true. Chelsea's reaction to the foul was, for me, equivalent to the worst of Barca's play-acting during their run. It should have been a yellow at most. Ibra wasn't reckless, didn't lead with his studs, wasn't two footed, and actually pulled out of the challenge when he knew he wouldn't win.

The narrative that PSG was somehow more robust and physical than Chelsea is the same as when Chelsea complains about teams parking the bus against them. In fact they are very similar sides. I'm not pretending that PSG are saints, but both teams are masters of the physical side and the deceitful of the game.

Just saw this on Twitter and felt like this thread was the best place for it.

ETA: From a French newspaper today.

Yea it was bad. Just another disappointing aspect of our performance on the field yesterday.

If we had played half as hard as we were ready to lobby for that card we would have won 4-0.

I have watched several PSG matches this season.

Seeing them play Chelsea with 10 men and answering the bell like they did in a hostile game shown me something

Was an excellent match IMO

Veratti and Motta were quite good. Silva, too, minus the weird handball. Even Luiz.

But Chelsea were so unwilling to try anything in the attack. Glad to see it bite Mourinho in the arse.

I was shocked by how conservative Chelsea were in the attack. Especially after going up a man.

Everyone on Chelsea is almost completely unlikeable.

Only player I like on the whole squad is Drogs. Hazard is badass but wasted in their shite offense and can act a pretty big twat himself.

Terry, Oscar, Costa, Fabregas, Willian

Objectively I don't see how anyone on Chelsea is "completely unlikable" except Terry and now Costa. Maybe Ivanovic and Ramires but how do you hate Cech, Courtois, Azpi, Luis, Cahill, Zouma, Matic, Willian, Cuadrado etc...?

It honestly was.

I liked him at Arsenal but he's sold out pretty hard since then.

Luckily I talked to this guy from Madrid the other day for a really long time. He was pretty cool, a big Sergio Ramos fan. I'm so glad we snuck by Schalke yesterday and really think it will be a wake up call. We are def gonna go back to back and win #11 this year! Hala Madrid!

I watched the match yesterday with 5 Brits. One of which is an Aberdeen fan. Since I don't have an SPL team, I thought, why not?
