Rue de Jeans is amazing, one of my favorites to eat at. Have all different varieties of mussels that are all amazing.

There have been tons of threads on Charleston. I would do a search and read through those. And enjoy Charleston, it's awesome.

Stay away, we can't stand tourists here. JK. Reds Ice House on Shem Creek
Fort Sumter
Downtown Market
Magnolia Plantation
Walk the Ravenel bridge (Amazing view of downtown Charleston)

Most of the restaurants and bars downtown are really good. What exactly are you looking to do?

If you plan on going to the beach I would suggest you get there really early because parking is always at a premium, especially at Folly Beach or Isle of Palms. You may have better luck at Kiawah Island

I prefer Sullivan's Island for local beach.

Tattooed Moose and/or Bull St Market for duck club sandwiches.
Closed for business for good beer and amazing spicy chicken sandwich.

2 parking tickets in my only 2 trips to the beach at Sullivans Island. No thanks. I swear my tires were not even touching the pavement

People always say this

I went to CofC and can tell you 9:1 is a lie. It is 3:1 though which is still
