About a month ago he was supposed to be out 4-6 weeks for the stress fracture in his foot, but I haven't seen any updates on him yet. Anybody heard anything lately about his injury?

Man if we can continue to recruit the guys we did last year whew we will have a very strong team. Sorry but when you said his name it just reminded me of our class and the quality of players on it. We have power arms, power and streaky bats, speed and size in almost every player we recruited last year. Add another class or two like that and the Tigers will be nasty and will surely be in the CWS. We good enough as is but add on to it and it could start some 90s momentum?! The 90s LSU is what made me watch college ball so religiously. Love the job Manerie is doing and he has stepped up his game a notch. GT

I think we had the talent to win it all the past two seasons, but lack of aggressiveness in the base pads, and poor hit coaching cost us in the playoffs.

Poor hitting coach didn't decide who to pitch or when to bunt

I would not expect alot out of Deichmann this year. If he does come back, he will struggle with avg.

Yea, I'm Excited to see this guy cause he's a lefty with tons O'power, but he also struck out a ton in the fall.
I'm not expecting him to be the messiah this year, but I do want to see some at bats.
