I sold out of the place I was on in S Tx, the drive is just too much... really kills the amount of time I could spend down there.

I'm looking for a place if anyone has a lead.
I was driving 7.5 hrs, looking for something within 4 hrs of Lafayette up to $10k a year.

Prefer to be along the Ms river. I appreciate any leads.

You will probably end up regretting this, but good luck finding a new place.

No, I had enough. time to get some relaxation time in the woods. Going tour Glasscock Island in a week or two but I'd rather be on the St Francisville/Woodville side of the river.

I was thinking 10k for a membership in a nice place. If I'm leasing the whole place, Im flexible if the surrounding land is wooded and it has decent amenities. You got something in mind ?

N/m, not in that price range.

Would you consider buying?

I usually hear of places here and there for lease that are usually too small of acreage for several people but too expensive for one. Like last year I found 200 acres for $55 an acre in Tunica part of West Feliciana Parish. Usually several places like that in the Ft Adams area also. Ill bump this thread if I run across anything

I thought as much. That doesn't tell me much about the scenario but I haven't ruled anything out. The setup I had in Tx was done through an LLC with 5 members owning the surface rights to 4k acres. Can you tell me any more about this particular LLP scenario ?

Check into Davis Island. It's ~9k, and a little bird told me a member there is not rejoining this year. Access is by boat, though.
