In Manatee County, Florida, an 18-year-old who has launched a career in adult films was assaulted by her best friend — who was not fond of her livelihood.

Local police obtained video footage that had been uploaded to Facebook of 18-year-old Samantha Shahinian (see photo), who early Friday morning was at her friend 19-year-old Jessica Curtis’s apartment, where a fight had broke out at around 1:30 a.m. Curtis threw a punch at Shahinian in the front yard, where the two wrestled on the ground until Curtis continued punching her friend and bit her twice on the back.

Why all the hostility between two buds? “They are not friends anymore,” according to the police report, “possibly because of Samantha’s job as a pornography actress.”

Shahinian “showed some redness and bumps” with “significantly large red puncture marks” on her back, according to police. As for the aforementioned footage, Curtis had managed to upload a clip to Facebook of the fight which had the caption “Guess who just beat Samantha’s arse.” It’s unclear who was filming the incident.

The fight was apparently building up after “months and months of online harassment” from Curtis, who disapproved of Shahinian’s line of work and had shared several screengrabs and links to videos of her porn clips. Though on one of these posts, Shahinian’s sister chimed in with “That video made enough money to cover your bond 3 times. She gets paid to do what you do for free.”
