I saw my grandparents catch a many of bass on Buell Spinners. They had a 12 foot fiberglass pole and about 4 feet of weed eater line with one tied on the end. They would float the creeks and run them back and forth along the banks and around every lay down or bush they passed top water style.

That dragonfly looks awesome. Youtube has videos showing it in the water. I may need one.

I have a Zara spook that exact color. It's called Black Shore Minnow. I've caught a few fish on it night fishing.

I've seen a bass nail an injured black bird on the water before. And also a dragon fly. Not sure if I'd add those to my list of go-to's though.

Clyde, I have heard of old timers using a nipple off a baby bottle as a lure by pushing it on the line wide part toward the rod and then tying on a treble hook, then slide the nipple down onto the hook.
They fish it the same way by wobbling, popping, dabbling, it with a long pole and fixed length of line around stumps and laydowns.
wish I had a picture.

I'm curious why the third one has a swastika on it.
I had no idea these existed until just recently, and was surprised to find out that people say they actually work.

fished a tourney once where they were marketing laserlure crankbaits and jerkbaits.
they all had small red lasers in them.

I can see it now...
Really, I can envision what you're saying.

didn't catch the swastika only saw the big lips.
Interesting side note on the ducks. The Skeeter owners tournament uses 100 or so yellow bathroom ducks and numbers them and dumps them out in the lake at various places. Each number correlates to some sort of prize. Every year, some of the ducks go missing. I have always wondered if any get swallowed by the behemoths of the deep.

would have laughed if he would have hooked a 3-4 pound bass and it pulled his drone into the lake

Yeah..
I'm wanting me a drone.

A drone could be useful when fishing below a dam outflow where they wont let you get beyond a certain line. You can only cast so far. use the drone with a drop release to carry the bait out and then drop it in place and hold on. Could also be useful in scouting an area from a distance in clear water areas.

I have caught bass on a bare hook right behind a plastic bobber over duckweed.
