Repairing a cracked iPad 2 screen

Anyone had experience with this? I've seen some sites that say DIY is a bit tough, so it's best to find a repair shop.
FYI, no Apple Care on this. and there's a repair service that'll come to me (home or office) and do it for $99. best I've found thus far.

I had a buddy that I work with repair mine, cost $50 for parts alone and took him 2 hours. So $100 probably isn't terrible.
Or sell on Craig for $70 and buy a new one.

Pay the $100. Due to the bonding of the antenna to the screen, repair is tricky even for someone who has done them before.
