Don't worry he will get plenty of air time. One thing we know he and Saul will make it to the end of the series.

At this point, we already know that Mike was a dirty cop and that he is guilt-ridden over the loss of his son. He has a self-imposed penance of making things right for his granddaughter. There really isn't that much more to his story as a character, other than seeing him ultimately embrace who he is to work for the chicken man.

Don't get me wrong, I like him as a character. I just don't think there's enough to keep millions of people interested enough to just focus mainly on him. His arc has a definitive direction. Jimmy, on the other hand, has to go through a complete name change and break ties with what his reformed persons has become to get where he is going.
