I've always considered him pretty close to Hargreaves in terms of skill and talent, but never hear anyone talk about him as one of the best corners in the nation. What do y'all think?

He's better than Hargreaves. No one talks about him because he shuts down that side of the field.

Its funny because Cooper never beat him in man coverage. For some reason Chavis let Collins cover him a lot of the game. I don't get why people think Hargreaves is head and shoulders above everyone in the SEC

Don't know what he's "considered" but he is elite.

I don't necessarily consider him elite, but he has been the best corner on the roster since becoming a starter his freshman season.

No one really throws the ball towards him which is why and thats a good thing. Dudes a beast the only thing slightly holding him back is his size which might not translate so well at the next level.

He went one V one against cooper, treadwell, A&M'S guy, and I think guarded coates/Williams versus auburn. He's going to be gone after this season so I hope he shows out and gets some much deserved awards

Whoa now. Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

He IS better than Jalen Collins (a future 1st round draft pick), so that's saying something. He doesn't have the length\height of him though. Then again, neither does VHIII

Yeah, I don't think he's better than Hargreaves either. White was overlooked by the rant in 2013 though. So many people thought Robinson was the better corner.

Lol no way. Robinson was inconsistent. White was constantly playing well

his technique makes up for his smaller size and when scouts turn on the tape they will fall in love with him.

IMO, yes.

He's a very complete CB and really doesn't have a weakness. He's always in great position on his man and rarely makes a mental mistake or gets beat. Hes a very good open field tackler and is a smart player with a high football IQ. He's very smooth in and out of his breaks and is very instinctive when it comes to reading the WR or QB. He's rock solid all around.

He's not a flashy player, which is why he's not a household name, but he's an "eraser" type of CB. The QB rarely looks his way or throws in his area because he usually is in a great position to play the ball or cause an incompletion. Ole Miss went after him some and he shut down Moncrief. When Cooper was on his side, Alabama went away from him.

He's been our best CB since he was a true freshman. That's impressive.
