Better to set the goal high.
For reference, I beat 27 last year. Also, seeing the credits roll is enough to for me to consider beating it. For sports games, I take winning the biggest competition (Super Bowl, NBA championship, etc) as beating the game.

We should make overly complicated rules on what counts as "finished". Some games never "end".

You had me be a handful last year but 30 is a lot and many of yours are rpgs. Destiny and borderlands slowed me down last year though. I had 100+ in bl2 last year and 175+ in destiny.

well like Mario Kart, it in a sense never ends, so I put my own "goal" as 3 stars on all tracks for 150cc and Mirror, which I know I will do, because I did that for Mario Kart Wii

Getting 3 stars on all the tracks gave me false confidence to take my skills to online races. Getting rekt by a bunch of 12 year old girls from Japan is the most rage inducing thing I've ever felt in my gaming life.

I actually had like a 1,750+ score online by the time I stopped playing MKW, I'm hoping I have the same success in 8
ETA: Edited score, because I even remember getting to 2k once..

Less than 1/2 the people online use tilt controls so using the steering wheel is a huge disadvantage but that's what makes MK so fun so I take my arse beatings anyway. It's way different that MK Wii IMO.

Yeah... I do not use tilt controls, Wiimote + nunchuk = I win
