Pels Bigs:

36 points, 50% FG%, 26 rebounds, 9 blocks

Grizz Bigs:

17 points, 29% FG%, 14 rebounds, 5 blocks

Maybe Dell is on to something.

First two years of Davis' career, he would struggle defensively against the bulky centers. I figured we'd just have to take the good with the bad.

This season we're seeing Davis give those bigger centers fits. ZBo was getting frustrated as all get out.

Anderson is one of my favorite players on the team, but I thinking the group of Davis/Asik/Ajinca is winning me over. just bring in another cheap solid prospect for depth.

add onto the fact that AD/Ajinca both have nice jumpers, that gives enough spacing if you wanted to run a lineup with any combination of 2 out of the 3.

Add a better SF (Batum), then you have yourself a scary lineup.

Randolph and Gasol were no shows. Not impressed at all.

They were no-shows for a reason, Z-Bo couldn't do shite against AD's length and Asik pretty much forced mid ranged shots or bad attempts at the rim for Gasol.

Why lol? Babbit is a much better defender and a better shooter.

He's a better defender of centers? Because part of Ryno's problem is he's playing backup center, not stretch 4. But if we're looking for a 12 MPG backup to AD, Ryno is obviously overkill, and Babbitt is probably a better fit.

That's an asinine statement. Ryno is a bad defender, but Babbitt is an abysmal defender

He is a better defender of small forwards than Anderson is of anything.

That is an asinine statement. There seems to be this misconception that Ryno is just a bad defender. He is likely the worst in the league this year. Certainly bottom 5. His real plus minus is there. Substantially worse than last year when his real plus/minus was 70/76 power forwards. And most of the players in contention with him for worst defender don't play nearly as much.

Luke Babbit is by no means comically bad. He's actually got great length and is a great leaper. Dude touched 11'10" at the combine. Thats higher than Blake Griffin and Zach Lavine for perspective. Certainly not a lockdown defender or even a good one, but he isn't the free point machine that Ryno is.

Honestly, the much better shooter part bothers me more than the defender.

More accurate shooter, yes. People really under value the shot creation aspect of Anderson's game.

That and Babbitt has taken all of 500 3PA in his career. He's been on fire this season (while Anderson has slumped some) and that's a credit to him. It's still only 100 3PA. Was anyone saying he is a better shooter than Anderson last season? Talk about recency and confirmation bias.

Anderson has 2200 3PA at a 38% clip. If Babbitt is shooting that well after the same number of attempts I'll be impressed.

Anderson has a role on this team just not the one Monty uses him for. Matching him up against the likes of Dwight Howard, Cousins, and other legit 5's is just a recipe for disaster. It's no wonder he's a bottom 5 defender in the league. He needs to be put in situations where he can succeed somewhat defensively and create matchup problems offensively. If he were playing last night he really shouldn't have seen the floor when Gasol and ZBo were both out there unless he's shooting 40+% from 3.
