Blizzard giving away 3 years of tuition up to 75,000 to the winning team. top 4 teams get gaming pc, top 64 get $40.00 in game currencey. All players must be from the same school. there is a fantasy league set up to support your favorite school. Info and Registration

I expect you guys to get at least 1 team going for Auburn.

beta access will be granted upon registration( in waves, it says), which ends mar 26. I am not a student but i will play with people and help them learn the game/strategies.

I'm in my final semester at Auburn and I think the time it would take me to get good at HotS would be better spent on actually graduating.

the games really not that technical its all objective based so if youre familiar with mobas really all you have to do to be good is lose any bloodlust you might have and learn the maps. The basic goal of every match is win the XP race to 10 (for ultimates) and control the objectives when they pop up. you can goodle the META for team compositions but typically 1 tank 1 healer 2 assassin 1 specialist. Free champs change every week and there are only 32-35 ish so it wont take long to learn them all and their abilities so you will know in draft pick when to take extra CC or how to counter certain heroes. Valla is really easy to play and probably the most OP assassin. Stitches is probably the best tank but he has a skill shoot hook that you need to be able to land. Nazeebo is my favorite specialist. heroes like sgt hammer and nova can be awesome but require good positioning at all times. Lili is probably the best overalll healer but malfurion is the most fun, but a lot of people use uther. fewer heals but he has a stun. gona stop typing junk probably no1 will read but any more questions just ask.

I played in the alpha early last year, so I'm familiar with the game. It is much simpler than other mobas out there (shared exp; no denyinng; no items) but there are still certain intricacies that need to be learned (matchups, counters, etc).

I was a big fan of Zeratul and Nova.
