Yes. LSU did recruit him, but he was 3rd on LSU's board at his position.

A 6'6" guard that can shoot. Big mistake not too get him.

I wish he would have waited but LSU has to be happy with Blakeney who was first on LSU's board.

I dont know how anyone can complain about the class we are bringing in

LSU is not missing out on him. He will be better off at Cincinnati. This recruiting class is very good and we do not need him considering most of our guards are returning next year and we are getting Antonio Blakeney and possibly Malik Newman.

He wanted to go out of state. Loved Cincinnati when he visited.

saw him play a few times this year, he can play and has nice size, as of right now he more of a 3 man and the games they played teams that could match up with him, he kinda fell back some.

Not the correct mindset in this one and done era of college basketball.

Me, too. I love handing out drinks to the women playing when I roll doubles.

We could lose Hornsby, Gray, Newman, Blakeney and potentially Quarterman after next season.
Evans would have been a nice addition to the future, but i wouldnt take him over Blakeney or Newman if we get him. He wouldnt play next season, but the seasons after that, probably a lot.
People have to think what we could possibly lose after next season, I mean we could lose damn near half the team.

He'll get a lot more playing time at Cinncinati. Luckily, 2016 is a good year for Louisiana. Well be alright.

This happens to UK and Kansas year after year and they continue to fill their rosters with elite players. Johnny jones needs success with these kids next year to continue to recruit at the highest level. It's the best way to compete for championships in today's game.

Kansas has had guys who stick around longer for years. The same thing has been happening with UK lately. Take a look at the roster from their last title run. Only AD and MKG were freshmen in the starting lineup.

Im not sure you watched the same games that everyone else in Louisiana has this year, He is the favorite to win player of the year.

Have you watched him this year? he probably will win player of the year in LA and if im not mistaken, he made Brandon Sampson look non-existent in their game early in the year from stats I saw...he also owned Peabody the other night scoring like 25 points

I get that LSU's recruiting class is stacked, but you can never have too much talent.
The guy can flat out ball, is a class act on and off the court and is a tough matchup for most people because of his combination of size and ball handling/finishing.
Totally understand his decision to go to Cinci though. He'll be a star there for however many years he stays. Wish him the best of luck
